Northside Singles Ministries works for the betterment of the community and is inclusive, supportive, friendly, loving and helpful .   We serve all singles, regardless of race or church affiliation .   Our group age ranges from “middle age” to older .   Our meetings are held at 9:45 A . M .  (we visit and drink coffee from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM) each Sunday in Room 31 (rear building on second floor) at Northside Singles Ministries, Cypress Creek Christian Church, 6823 Cypresswood Drive, (between the Library and Courthouse) Spring, Texas 77379  

Being single can be lonely if you allow it to be. Whether you are divorced or widowed, Northside Singles understands and offers a safe environment of unconditional acceptance from friendly folks dedicated to making you feel welcomed and a part of the group.  For many, Northside Singles is a second family that provides a vital support system.

We currently have over 140 members in the group.  Many are members of Cypress Creek Christian Church; however, many are members of other denominations. Many of the singles who visit our group come with a desire to reconnect with their spirituality. If you do not have a church home at the present time, you may want to attend some of the church services and find that the church meets your spiritual needs. The congregation will be happy to have you as a part of their church family.

Sunday Morning Programs
Each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m., the group meets for coffee and friendship at the Community Center.  At 9:45 a.m., members choose between a traditional Bible Study class and a Contemporary Issues Class.  Afterwards, members may attend services at Cypress Creek or their own church.  The group then reconvenes at 12:30 p.m. at an area restaurant for good food and great conversation.

Volunteer Opportunities
Being part of Northside Singles  means having opportunities to give back to the community and to experience the rewards that come from reaching out to those less fortunate.   Some of the outreach programs we support include organizations such as Northwest Assistance Ministries, Boys and Girls Country, and Interfaith Hospitality Network.

Membership
The best way to determine whether Northside Singles is a good fit for your needs is to attend the Sunday morning programs and some of the functions that are scheduled.  

If you are interested in joining the group, please contact one of our Council members and complete a membership application.  Annual dues are $12.00, which help defray costs of mailings and other expenses.

On the First Friday of each Month at 7:00 P.M. we have a potluck dinner in the middle building of Cypress Creek Christian Church followed by an interesting speaker.
